Heritage Park
Enjoy a picnic in the park, take a tour of the historic equipment display, or discover a walk trail. Some historical aspects of the tin mining industry are displayed in this park including machinery such as steam boilers and a mock mine shaft with a head frame. Note the mature palm tree which was relocated to the Heritage Park from South Greenbushes in the 1970s.
The Greenbushes Walk Trails (Greenbushes Loop, New Zealand Gully and Mining Heritage Walk) commence at the Heritage Park (see the map at the entrance to the park) including the town based Heritage Amble. Explore the history of the town by taking a walk along Blackwood Road visiting sites such as the Old Gaol and Courthouse and War Memorial. There are 77 sites on the Heritage Amble.
